125 Oblique: A Medium Slanted Sans-serif

125 Oblique: A Medium Slanted Sans-serif

The “125 Oblique” typeface is a personal exploration of typography. Named for the 125-pixel radius that shapes its unique contours and is distinguished by an oblique angle of nearly 18 degrees, I tailored this typeface for prominence in headlines and headers.

With a medium to medium-bold weight, “125 Oblique” strikes a balance between impact and subtlety, making it versatile for various design applications. The medium weight establishes a sturdy foundation for each character, while the slight boldness adds character without overwhelming the visual aesthetics. An interesting feature of “125 Oblique” is the gentle curvature, shaped by the 125-pixel radius, which introduces an element of movement to the letterforms. The oblique angle adds a dynamic touch, capturing attention without detracting from legibility. This balance between movement and stability is a distinctive characteristic of the typeface.

125-Oblique currently supports international Latin-based languages, including Pinyin, Vietnamese, Western and Eastern European, and partial support for South-Eastern European and Pan African Latin languages.

This typeface is available for free. If you use it in a project, please share the result with me by sending an email to me (at) danielecheverri (dot) co
